EMIRATI ADMINISTRATOR Faisal Al Rahmani will enjoy a second term in office as Chairman of the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing (IFAHR) after being unanimously re-elected during the General Assembly meeting of the body in Paris last week.

IFAHR promotes the sport of Purebred Arabian racing around the world and all 26 member states of IFAHR’s Executive Office voted in favour of Al Rahmani holding on to the Chairmanship for a second four-year term from 2021 to 2025.

Expressing his appreciation at being re-elected for a second term, Al Rahmani said: “My re-election for the chairmanship of IFAHR is the outcome of the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and his leading role in implementing development plans for activities involving Arabian Horses.

“Sheikh Mansour’s support and monitoring played a major role in my success and my re-election.

“We will continue our efforts to achieve further successes, and we will launch advanced programmes and development plans to ensure the progress of the Arabian Horse family.”
