Trainer Francis-Henri Graffard and jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot combined to land the Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp on Saturday after The Revenant stormed to a massive four and a half length victory in the mile event.
The 4yo Dubawi gelding was kept close to the front by Boudot, who let him free two furlongs out.
Godolphin's Andre Fabre trained and Mickael Barzalona ridden Impulsif took the lead early on but was headed after The Revenant and race favourite Olmedo threw down their challenge.
The Revenant was a class apart as he raced clear of his challenger with a furlong left to run and built on his lead with every stride to go four and a half lengths clear at the post. A further three fourths of a length behind in third was Shaman.
