King's Advice became the UK's winning most horse for 2019 after the Mark Johnston trained 5yo won the Summer Handicap under Joe Fanning on the final day at Glorious Goodwood on Saturday.
Owned by Saeed Jaber, Frankel's son chased the leaders for most of it and with an opportunity emerging two furlongs from the finish, Fanning urged him to go and he responded well with a sustained effort that saw him run across the line gamely to win the 2800m contest by a neck from Outbox, with Shailene a further length and half behind in third place.
"He's a small horse. But he's tough. He's game, " Fanning said." He just knuckled down and to do it like that… "
