Owner-trainer Terri Eaton and jockey Adrian Ramos combined to land the Wathba Stallions Cup at Arapahoe Park in the United States on Sunday, Dreamm supplying the pair with a fine win in the 1000m affair.
The sprint was the first of three legs of the 2022 Wathba Stallions Cup Stakes series and No Risk Al Maury’s 4yo daughter proved the best in the field, easily sweeping around the final turn into the straight and battling stable companion WMA Smoke Signal, the ride of David Martin, to win. Kazzu was third for trainer Ken Danyluk and jockey Jose Lopez.
Dreamm won the lion’s share of the $10,000 prize clocking 1:05.78 and co-owner Cory Soltau said: “Dreamm ran well and her competitive finish with stable-mate WMA Smoke Signal was great. This Wathba Stallions Cup race was well represented at Arapahoe and we look forward to coming back here for the next Wathba Stallions Cup race on 21 August.”
